I’m so excited to continue the Fit Pregnancy Series! I hope you all have been enjoying it.  This week’s video is a bit shorter from last week (which was a goal of mine) and I touch on some preliminary workout topics.  My husband gets into some workouts for your arms and shoulders.  I know some people mentioned they don’t have the piece that we put on top of the door to hold the resistance bands.  You actually don’t need that! :)  We have a few exercises you can do using the resistance bands without that.  On a funny note, J.R. makes a surprise, yet brief appearance in the video, so be on the lookout for that.  He thinks he can do exercises like Mommy and Daddy.   We love that!

 

One thing I want to mention about this series is that the exercises are for women in all stages of life.  I am just showing exercises that are also pregnancy-friendly as well.  Perhaps I don’t portray this well because of the title.  I was sure to put that in my description of the video in YouTube, though! :)

  • I missed last week, but I loved seeing you and your boys today! I have those bands and haven't used them in awhile – I forgot how versatile they were. I have to dig them out and add them to my treadmill workout when it's too cold or snowy to head to the gym. Thanks Brittnei!

  • I admire women who really work out and pay attention to their health, especially during pregnancy. I did yoga for two trimesters but still had a pretty scary birth with a premie baby.
